Bernard Addison
Host/Spotlight Mastery Class Teacher
Bernard Addison is an award-winning actor and director. Mr. Addison currently is part of the theatre faculty at Los Angeles High School of the Arts. He was recently seen on L.A. stages in The Tempest at Antaeus Theatre Company. Other notable productions include Water by the Spoonful (Mark Taper Forum), Citizen: An American Lyric (Kirk Douglas/Fountain) and The Ballad of Emmett Till (Fountain). Regional theatres include A Noise Within, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, California Shakespeare Theater, Denver Center Theatre Company, McCarter Theatre Center, Long Wharf Theatre, and the Shakespeare Theatre Company. Mr. Addison has appeared on Broadway, off-Broadway and off-off-Broadway. Recent television credits include Call Me Kat, Modern Family, Castle and Ugly Betty. He is also a narrator of dozens of audiobooks.
Elise Solberg
Spotlight Judge
Elise Solberg is a keyboardist, songwriter, producer, flutist and composer. She has performed with artists such as Beyoncé, Chloe x Halle, Ellie Goulding, Doechii, and Pawpaw Rod and on many televised performances such as the OSCARS® with Beyoncé and with six time Grammy® nominees Chloe x Halle at the MTV Movie & TV Awards, the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the Late Late Show with James Corden, NPR’s Tiny Desk, Dick Clark’s New Years’ Rockin’ Eve and more. Ms. Solberg has also performed on the main stage of Coachella and other major festivals such as Outside Lands and Afropunk festivals. She performed for the 20th Anniversary Celebration of the Library of Congress’ Veterans History Project.
Jennifer Stahl
Spotlight Alum
Jennifer Stahl is a principal dancer with San Francisco Ballet where she performs a wide array of repertoire and has had the honor of originating roles in works by numerous world-renowned choreographers. While training at Classical Ballet Academy, she was a Spotlight Grand Prize Finalist in 2003, a Prix de Lausanne Finalist in 2004 and a Finalist at Youth America Grand Prix’s New York Finals where she received the National Training Scholarship from American Ballet Theatre in 2003 and a scholarship to San Francisco Ballet School in 2004. Ms. Stahl was named an apprentice with San Francisco Ballet in 2005, joined the corps de ballet in 2006, was promoted to soloist in 2013 and was promoted to principal dancer in 2017.
